North Miami, FLSat, Feb 23, 2-5pm Upside Down: Inversions and Heart-Openers
Sun, Feb 24, 2-5pm Inside Out: Arm balances and Hip-OpenersLife can turn us upside down and inside out. Unexpected twists and turns sometimes stop us in our tracks. Barriers offer an invitation to creatively expand within. We become more skillful in how to respond with more clarity and lightness of being, both on and off of the mat.
Through playful inversions and arm balances, we will explore the inner trust, which grounds us in deft aviation for the body, mind, and spirit. In this weekend workshop, Cat will guide us through a variety of poses, to experience rooting our hands like another pair of feet and encourage the inner body to rise like a buoyant bird or a soaring dragonfly. MAY
Goddess Weekend Workshop
· May 10-11, 2013
at Yoga Bliss
Baton Rouge, LAFri, May 10, 5:30-7:30pm
Sat, May 11, 2-5pm
Yoga is a practice of balancing our masculine and feminine encoded energies. For Mother’s Day, we celebrate the creative vitality of the maternal essence. We all come from a mother as well as have a nurturing side. Aligning with nature, the cycle of life consists of a creative, sustaining and dissolving spirit.
These three aspects are symbolized in the goddess archetypes of Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Kali. This triadic relationship exists everywhere, whether in a cycle of a breath, of a day, or of a lifetime. In this weekend workshop, Cat will guide us through the triadic relationship within the Goddess Tradition, in honor of the “Mothership.” Open to all levels!
Early bird discount ends April 30th. To register, please visit www.yogablissbatonrouge.com.
